We had the good fortune of connecting with Melanie Fernandez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Melanie, what matters most to you?
The principle I value the most is truth. The truth is required to break down all the corruptive systems in this world. The big change is about to happen when all the lies will come to the surface and will be publicly exposed. The truth can’t be contained for very long. Eventually it will spill out of every corner.
I’m so happy that our first album which is called ‘Aeon of the Truth Unleashed’ resonates so much with the public. One song specifically. ‘Set the World on Fire’ was released as a single in October of 2023 and has reached already 45,000 streams on streaming platforms. That is Incredible! Thank you all! You rock! We are trying to reach as many people a possible with our message…
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have two passions in my life. I love music. The other passion I have is medicine, anatomy, kinesiology. What especially interests me is the connection between the body and the mind and how intertwined the mind affects the body and vice versa. To answer your question, I think what sets me apart from others is that I do all the work myself artistic wise. I write and compose and record the songs myself. I love the process. It’s a lot of work but I enjoy it. How I overcome all the challenges is that I have told myself that I can do it. I can do anything if I really want to. So I started learning all these different new exciting skills. I also shoot and edit our music videos myself. That’s actually another passion of mine. Film. In the future I hope we can shoot a movie about Aeon Spirit ‘The Spirit of Time and Space’ of how it all began.
Because of this event that had happened to me 11 years ago I had the courage to live the life I really want to live, despite of what other people tried to talk me into or tried to talk me out of it. I think it really is a mistake when you don’t listen to yourself while making important life changing decisions. This happens to a lot of people, I have seen it while I was working as a Therapist. I really learned to trust my inner instinct 100 percent. When you listen to other people making life decisions for you, that’s when you’re getting on the wrong path. Only you yourself can know. For example when your motivation in life is money or status or if you have these things already and you think you made it, that’s when you lost in life big time. Or better to be said you are lost in life. Life is not about that at all but our society brainwashes us into believing this. So basically you have to really reject the public opinion and just do your own thing despite of what anybody thinks, says or does. Do what you love, if it makes you happy then you won in life. That’s real success.
Success in our society should be measured based on the happiness you feel inside. Not on anything else.
In fact I’ve seen so many people which I have treated as a Therapist working at the Doctors office here in Los Angeles having a spiritual bankruptcy. Many of these patients I have treated had everything you can buy with money but no happiness within. Here I have to quote one of my favorite people Yogananda Paramahansa: “Possession of material riches, without inner peace, is like dying of thirst while bathing in a lake.”
The result is that many people start treating this spiritual bankrupsy, this emptiness within with drugs and alcohol. The emptiness and unhappiness comes from doing things out of the wrong reasons and as a result of that being not on the right life path what is meant for them. Life gives you red flags and signs all over. But if you ignore the red flags and keep going into the wrong direction that’s when people become unhappy and empty within.
The key is meditation. Meditation is the only thing that works. To unlock basically the spirit within. Connect within and you will find the right answer’s. Real happiness you can only find within not in anything externally that’s the main lessons I have learned on my journey so far. To answer your question.
No one or nothing externally can give you real happiness. Not your friends or family or your partner or material possessions. If you can’t find your path and happiness within yourself you will not find it anywhere else. That’s why you can’t listen to anyone else while being in this process. Be by yourself, quiet everything down. Quiet your mind and enter the palace within. Keep doing it every day. At least 20 min. or longer.
That’s the only place where you can find the real treasure everyone desires. That’s why the Aeon Spirit band logo is a golden head. It’s when you realize the higher power.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite spots in Los Angeles are Topanga Canyon, there is also a really great Restaurant called Reel Inn. Palos Verdes is an amazing Place with super high cliffs where you can look down on the ocean. It’s a Peninsula that doesn’t even feel like you are in LA anymore. Venice Beach of course is always fun to go! Observatory in Hollywood is a must see as well.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My success in life is based on one single event that had happened to me 11 years ago. One night a male voice woke me up in the middle of the night and I saw this huge bright light tunnel going out of my bedroom. The bedroom wall was gone replaced by this light tunnel. There was a man standing in front of it. I couldn’t move. I was frozen. I couldn’t see his face but I saw his body shape, very tall and slim. This lasted for about 20 seconds. Later on I found out that this could’ve been a dimension portal. Of course many people didn’t believe me when I told them. But for the ones who have an open mind that there could be something else out there, well I tell you I have seen it with my own eyes. And maybe if I would’ve not seen it with my own two eyes I wouldn’t believe it either. But it really happened. I see this as a gift because everyone always says to me: You know, I’ve never seen anything out of the ordinary with my own two eyes. If I would, I would believe. But I have and I wish you would too because this will change your life forever. Things you think are important now will lose its importance. Because this here, on earth, this is not the ultimate reality. This is basically why I formed the band Aeon Spirit. After that happened my life changed drastically. I’m forever grateful for it.
